Chartock Speaks at MCCA’s 2017 General Counsel Summit

Date June, 2017

Gordon Brothers’ General Counsel, Michael Chartock, joined other leaders in the legal field representing a range of industries – from retail to energy to media – to share insight at the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s 2017 General Counsel Summit. Michael spoke on a panel titled, “From Cost Center to Revenue Generator - A New Approach for In-House Legal Departments.”

The event also involved networking and mentorship opportunities for emerging leaders in the field to share experiences with the next generation of legal professionals. At Gordon Brothers, we celebrate diversity and inclusion and we are proud of Michael’s contributions to the community. We look forward continuing our involvement with MCCA and other organizations that share our values.

Michael has served at Gordon Brothers since 1999. He is a critical driver of many of our largest transactions with national retailers and commercial & industrial operators. He has extensive experience working with multiple corporate constituencies in connection with consensual out-of-court compositions and wind-downs; with strong parent companies wishing to dispose of under-performing retail subsidiaries; and with healthy retailers in connection with their ordinary course store relocations and closings.
